1936 – Foundation
The predecessor of Foundry Szeged Ltd. was established by Ferenc dr. Bárkányi, mechanical engineer, from 100% Hungarian private ownership.
1936
1994 – Privatization
Foundry Szeged Ltd. was privatized by a Hungarian privately owned company. Since 1994, Foundry Szeged Ltd. is in the same ownership.
1994 1997 – First Certification
Foundry Szeged Ltd. was certified by ISO 9001. Audit and certification was done by TÜV-Hannover.
1997 
1998 – Automatic Line DISA
DISAmatic 2013 automatic moulding line was purchased and started to use for medium and large series production.
1998 2002 – Change of Melting Process
Cupola furnace and its melting was changed to the environmentally friendly medium frequency induction furnaces. Hylger Spectrometer was purchased to fully and properly control the molten irons’ chemical composition.
2002 2012 – New Spectrometer
A brand new ARL/THERMO spectrometer was built in the chemical control of molten iron.
2012 2013 – EN-GJS-400-18-LT
To widen our material grades portfolio and to give a new production service to our customers and new partners, we started the production of a specifically used material grade.
2013 2015 – MAGMA
We built in our production design MAGMA simulation software to optimize and improve the casting process on the most effective and beneficial way.
2015 2016
Installation of a brand new, full automatic DISA 190-75 TM Sandmixer with 30T/h capacity, SMC Laboratory and a DISA Cooling Drum.
2016 2018 - Environmentally sound running
Beside the quality of products, our company significantly cares about the protection of its environment. As a result, we are certified by the integrated quality and environmental management system from this year done by TÜV-SÜD.

2020 2021-2022 – Purchasing & Installation of GOM Scanner, Zwick-Roell Tensile Machine & KOYAMA CNC Grinding Machine
2021-2022 2023 – Purchasing & Installation of brand new DISAMATIC C3 250B Moulding Line and KOYAMA CNC Grinding Machine
